Badminton competition in class and preparing for interclass Competition!

Hi!

My class had a badminton competition last Thursday to choose who will represent our class for the interclass competition we are having next Monday!

In the first match, I played against Ryan Pee!

He was struggling a lot when I was playing with him as he accuracy was not so good!

Eventually I won 10-0!

I won but I actually wanted him to win at least 1 point!

In the second round, I played against Clarence Sim(Head Prefect in our school).

Everyone was cheering for him and booing me because I had an advantage as I was in the school senior badminton team.

They thought that I was showing him no mercy and think I was bullyng him!

Then, when the score was 8-0, everyone asked me to give him some points!

So, I purposely smacked the shuttercock out of the court and I let him score 3 points.

Then, I planned a counter attack.

On the ninth point, I gave Clarence a high serve and he did not manage to get it!

In the last point, I serve to him and he return my shot with a high shot and I gave him a quick smash and I ended the game.

Suddenly, my teacher told me that I was promoted and given a spot to represent my class in the interclass competition!

I was elated but I felt a little sad as I could not play longer.

I only could watch the finals between Jeremy Liew VS Aaron Allwood and Wei Jian VS Yew Heng.

The score of Jeremy and Aaron match was 10-6!Jeremy win!

The score for Wei Jian and Yew Heng was 10-6!Wei Jian win!

After that we went for computer class.

Suddenly, our teacher told us that there was only one spot left for someone to join the interclass competition

Jeremy and Wei Jian need to play in DEATH match to join the interclass competition after school!

After school,it was the DEATH match between JEREMY VS WEI JIAN!

The score was 10-6!WEI JIAN win!

After that I could play with Wei Jian after school and the score was 10-8!I win!

Jeremy also wanted to challenge me to see who is stronger!

I won Jeremy with the score 10-3, but Jeremy was not happy with his score and he asked me to play until 15 and I agreed!

As I was feeling tired, Jeremy eventually gained up with me and I was losing.

Then I mastered my smash and I gave him comtinuous smashing and the game ended as

15-13!I win again.

Well, thats all I can write for now so BYE- BYE

PSLE over! YAY! Now preparing for AMC8!

Hooray!

PSLE is finally over!

Now I have to prepare for AMC8.

(For your information, it is another Maths Olympiad like the one I usually join.)

But, PSLE over.

I don't know what to do.

Now, I could just think of playing and playing and playing......

Now, my teacher allow our class to do anything we want!

But, I still need to prepare to join AMC8.

The maths genius told us the question and I thought that it was ok!

I was very depressed when I tried to log on to my maple account but I could not.

Now, I don't know what to do as I could not play my favourite game.

Everyday, I just go to the playground and meet up with people I usually duel with.

I like to play with them Duel Masters and my trump card is

Super NecroDragon Abso Dolba!

We can also play soccer everyday.

When I was playing soccer today, there was thunder and our teacher spot us.

That why I am blogging now.

Now, my teacher will call us to practice hard for AMC8.

Sorry it has been a long time since I last blog.

I waas busy studying for my Prelim the past few weeks.

My marks for Prelim are

Eng:75

Maths:97.5

Sci:86.5

Chi:74.5

I am not really happy with my english result as my compo was terrible.

Anyway, I had just created a new Friend test!

Well, I do not have much to say now.

I need to go to school tomorrow to prepare for PSLE.

Nervous!!!!!!!NUS result coming out tomorrow!

IT's me again.

I am so excited about the result tomorrow.

The NUS result is coming out tomorrow at 5p.m.

I hope the 3 people that was shortlisted get into NUS.

A bone stuck in my throat!

Hi!

I'm back to blog after I did not blog for about 2 months.

Sorry I have not been updating my blog lately as I was studying for PSLE.

Today, my luck was not good.

I was eating dinner when a fish bone got stuck in my throat.

I went to see a doctor after that.

I had to wait for about 1/2 an hour before it was my turn.

The doctor took a small pair of scissors that I do not know what it is and he told me to say Ahhhhhhhh!

He use the scissors and pull out the fish bone from my throat.

I was surprise that he did it so quickly as I took a long time using my hand to take it out and end up vomiting a few time.

When I saw the fish bone, I finally realized why I could not pull the bone out and why it was so painful.

I found out that the bone was bent and it was stuck on my throat.

Well, I will be updating my blog soon and telling oyu everything that has happen this term.

I will also get the NUS result this week to tell me if I get in or not.

(I pass the 1st test and went for a camp.)

I will tell you about that some other time.

I am here to update my blog again.

Finally!

The holiday has finally ended and it is time to study for PSLE.

Now is not the time for relaxing but the time for studying.

Today is the first day of school after 1 whole month of holiday.

I am now updating my blog at school but I do not know what to talk about.

I know, maybe I will tell you about the coming competition I will be having and the thing my class have achived.

1st my class have won GOLD in the Singapore Youth Competition.

Next, 5 of my classmates were place well in the Maths Olympiad Competition.

(It is by Hua Chong Insititution)

1st Lim Jeck got Plaminum, Ryan Pee got Gold, Freada got Silver while Wei Jian and Hong Zhi got Bronze.

Trip to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve!

Hi!

I'm here to update my blog about the exciting trip to Sungei Buloh this morning with my class.

This is my first time going to Sungei Buloh and I think that it is really fun to explore the place.

Too bad that we were not able to explore the whole place but only a small portion of it.

At first, I thought Sungei Buloh was a island in Singapore, but when I reached there, I realised that it was some where in Woodlands.

Before we were leaving the school, my teacher gave us a worksheet and she lent us her mosquito repellent to spray on our body.

When we were in the bus preparing to go to Sungei Buloh, I felt BORED, BORED and BORED.

There was nothing to do in the bus so some of us just play some finger games but it was still quite boring.

When we reach there, we were split into 3 groups.

All of the 3 groups walked in opposite direction.

When we entered the wetland reserve,we saw a lot of plants and animals.

Some example are Monitor Lizard, mudskipper and others.

There was a guide whom guide us in Sungei Buloh.

He explane a lot of stuff which I need to do the worksheet.

He also allowed us to rest a little after a while.

There was one part where I saw two fish fishing but one of my classmate say that I always think of that kind of thing which is not true.

I do not think about those disgusting thing, I was just curious about what the fish was doing.

After that, we saw a tree and the guide ask my to push the leaf of the tree and taste it.

It was quite salty.

He told us that the leaves prevent the salt from entering the plant and make the leaves salty as the salt does not enter the leaves and stay on them.

There was a chinese school that was making a lot of noise and we keep meeting them so it was quite noisy.

After exploring the place, there was a small party but not sure if I should call it a party or break.

We were able to get some drinks as my teaacher bought some drinks along.

The food was provided by Lim Jeck's mother.

She bake some cookies and some cake.

There was also another team that came after us.

Some of them was in our class.

I still do not know why they took so long to explore the place.

There was also a library near by and a lot of us went in to the library.

They showed a lot of insects in the library.

After that, we also saw some of the 6B student feeding the fish.

They were like enjoying it but I think they were wasting their money.

After that the whole class went back to the school and the journey in the BORING bus began again.

Well, thats all the time I have for today.

Maybe I will ask my parent to bring me to Sungei Buloh when PSLE is over and explore the whole place.

3 weeks of holidays have already past!

Sorry!

I had not been updating my blog as my mom asked me to visit my grandmother.

Well, 3 weeks of holidays has past already.

What can I say now?

Just one week left before going back to school and study hard for PSLE.

Time sure fly pretty fast.

It felt like everything that happened during the holidays has past so fast.

Tomorrow, my whole class would be going to Sungei Buloh wetland reserve.

This will be my first time going there so I do not really know how it is like there.

I have been asking my relative but it looks like none of them know what Sungei Buloh is like and never went there before.

Well, got to go now.

I better sleep early today as tomorrow I have to wake up very early for the trip to Sungei Buloh.

Did I get sore eye again?

I'm here today to tell you that, um...

How should I put it?

I'm here to tell you about something I had been wondering all day long.

This was something that had happened this morning.

I was sleeping in bed when my sister told me that one of my classmate called me but I don't remember what he was asking me about.

When I came out of my room, I was rubbing my eyes as my left eye feel ichy .

After we finished talking, I went to the bathroom to prepare to brush my teeth and wash my face.

When I looked into the mirror as I was preparing to brush my teeth, I noticed that my left eye was RED!

I was wondering all day if I got sore eye again?

Did I get sore eye again?

Well, I'm not really sure but I got to go and sleep now.

Half of the holidays are gone!

Hi!

This is what I am going to talk about today.

Time fly really fast when you are enjoying myself but fly slow when you are not.

To me I think that the time fly very fast the last two weeks.

A few hours has pasted after half of the holiday.

Well, I do not know what to do during the holiday.

The only thing I can think about doing in the holiday is to go to the badminton court and practice with my friends as I am preparing for a test in RI.(Did not get respond from RI yet.)

Mostly now at home very boring.

Usually in the morning, I am the only one at home and I do not know what to do.

I decided to use these few weeks at home to write notes to prepare for PSLE.

Well, thats all I have to say today.

Party in class and finally no more school in holiday!

This is the continuous of two of my blog entries.

This is the part where I talk about the party.

I'm going to tell you 1st about the party my class have in the afternoon.

We had the party after finishing our A* Rate and Speed book.

We had some food like cookies and pizza.

We also had some soft drink.

I would like too thank the people from my class who made the party possible by providing the drinks and other.

The food I like most was the Pizza.

We were asked by our teacher which kind of pizza we wanted.

There were two flavour to pick from.

One of them was the chicken while the other one was the seafood.

I, choose the chicken as I thought that it would taste nice.

The thing I hated most is the vegetable as I do not really like vegetable.

But, after I ate the Pizza, I felt that the Pizza was very tasty with the vegetables too!

Now I'm going to talk about no more school in holiday.

Everyday from Monday to Friday, we did the normal stuff like IQ maths questions and A* maths booklets questions.

There was something funny and exciting happening in class.

My teacher was giving us A* maths questions when she went to the class culture corner and saw a lizard.

She was frightened and asked if anybody in the class could help her kill the lizard.

When that happen, I felt like laughing but I knew that my teacher would scold so I did not laugh.

One of my friend,Kiagos was willing to help my teacher kill the lizard so he took the insectiside and sprayed is at the lizard.

I was wondering why he took a insectiside while it is for killing insects and not reptiles.

It look so funny that I burst out into laughter.

Kiagos was spraying the insectiside when the lizard keep running around the class.

Aaron,also one of my friend, killed the lizard by stepping on it.

The good thing was that the lizard was killed while the bad thing was that the lizard got killed at the place where I was sitting.

The lizard's tail came out of it's body and it was under my table so I had to change place.

Well, that's all the time I have for today.I need to go sleep now but I will continue to up date my blog in one or two days time.

Another ordinary day in school.

The thing I am going to update today is about another ordinary day in school.

Well,today in class, we did the normal routine like usual.

some example are ,doing IQ questions,A* Questions and others.

Now I am updating my blog as usual.

The questions in the A* book are quite easy for some and some were hard.

Well,we have our usual break after every one hour of studying.

Today, in class, we had to bring our own food.

My teacher told me that we would be having a party tomorrow.

I am so excited for the party tomorrow.

I wonder what will happen tomorrow?

Lim Jeck going to Hong Kong!

Hi!I'm here to update my blog again.

Does any of you reading my blog know Lim Jeck?

well he is the Maths Genius in the class 6A.

Let me tell you some of Lim Jeck achivement in his special talent,Maths.

He has score full marks in AMC8,1st in RI Maths Olympiad and top 1% in AMC10.

Well, the thing I am going to blog about today is about Lim Jeck going to Hong Kong.

Lim Jeck has been selected from RI to take a test to choose who to go to Hong Kong.

Well, Lim Jeck got a position for going to Hong Kong and I think that was what the class expected from him.

The truth is that...How should I say it?

There is a Maths Olympiad club in my class and 10 pupils are involved including Lim Jeck.

I am 1 of the 10 and all 10 of us went for the RI Maths Olympiad and it was very difficult.

Lim Jeck was like doing it without any difficulty and he only miss out 1 or 2 questions.

Lim Jeck was the only one to get into round 2 and he got 1st.

Well the rest on the Maths Olympiad class in my class thought it was a good experience.

In the end, Lim Jeck was the only one selected from RI to go to Hong Kong.

Well, that's all the time I have for today.

Going back to school on school holidays!

Hi!Its me again.

My whole class came back to school last week to have extra Remedial lessons.

We studied English, Maths and Science.

Well, it was also pretty exciting when our teacher ask us to take part in a competition on Marine Biologist.

We were surpose to find other group member and be in groups of 2 or 3.

While I was searching for a team, I found that one of my friends,Khalil only have two member in his team.

I decided to join him as he allowed me to join his team.

But the sad thing is that I quit from his team as he does not allow me to do anything that has something to do with the computer.

Khalil also called me to be the 'Adviser' of the team as I got the highest in English among everyone in the team.

The truth is that I wanted to do the Photoshop and create the poster for the team.

I was so angry that I quit the team.

The good thing was that I found another one of my friend,Ryan Lee's team also has two member.

No one in that team know Photoshop so I have to do the poster.

The bad thing is that after a day, I have been transfered to the B grader

(They are a group of people who got B in any subjects in the exam)

I still want to join the competition so I did my English PSLE booklet quickly and carefully.

I finish My PSLE booklet in 2 days and my teacher allowed me to join the competition.

The next day, my group members did not come.

They also did not come on the next day.

After another searching, I found another of my friend,Hong Zhi, asked me to join his group of two.

I did not manage to finish to finish the poster in two day.

Well thats all that happen last week.I will continue on my blog entry on the next week later.

I like to play this game as we can do quests hunt with friends and lv up.

Trip to the Zoo

Hi!

After a few times of blogging, I think I am getting better at this.

I went to the Singapore Zoo with my class 6A at 24th May 2007.

I have fun at the Zoo as we have a party there and I learn what animals have or need for survival.

There was a party as we celebrated some of the Maths Olympiad winning the competition

and going to the second round.

The party was also held because the exam was over.

I thought the Zoo was full of animals but, I saw a lot of plants there too.

The biggest plant I saw was the Amazon Lily Pad.

A lot of pupils from my class were throwing coins on the Lily Pad.

Preparing for competitions!

I am now preparing for 2 competitions.

One of them is the Maths Olympiad in NUS(My Dream Secondary School).

Another is Scrabble competition which I post in my earlier post about going to the finals.

Just now I was doing Maths Olympiad training and the questions were harder than I thought.

Now I am playing scrabble with my Group 2 team leader,

Ryan Lee.

He is quite good in his Scrabble so I am having a hard time trying to win.

Finally EXAM is over!

I felt so free now that EXAM is over,

but I am not really happy with some of my marks as I did not reach my goal

.But now i still need to study for PSLE so I cannot relax yet until PSLE over.

Well now I need to go and eat now so BYE-BYE.

I'm so nervous as I have to re-take my Science and Mother Tongue Exam Tomorrow.I have to study a lot for today but just come to update my blog.Well i got only 2 things left to say and that is I have a lot of PRESSURE and BYE BYE!

I am so unlucky!During the day of my Mother Tongue Exam, I got Sore eye.I waited for 3 hours before it was my turn in the clinic.It started with one eye at first but the other eye got infected as well after a few hours.Tomorrow got Science exam but doctor advice me not to go to school as sore eye is contagious and i will not get well tomorrow.Iam so depress and there will be a lot of PRESSURE on me on Monday as I have to take both MOTHER TONGUE and SCIENCE EXAM at the same day.I wonder how my other 6A friends are doing in school this few day and i am very worried if there is a lot of homework.

Yay!

In scrabble contest, group 1,2 and 4 went to final: )
Almost everyone in the class was happy but those team which did not get into final was a bit disapointedbut its ok for them as they are also invite to watch the other group play!
Tommorow got Maths Exam and it is a little stressful but I just update my blog a little; )
